Consider an internship at our National Ministry Center.

Accountant and Bookkeeping:

Individuals are needed who may have various levels of experience in applied accounting principles and love working with numbers. Accuracy and attention to details are a must.

Data Processing:

Responsible for general data entry, address corrections, collating, letter processing, and other computer-related data and financial tasks. This critical area processes all incoming mail and coordinates ministry correspondence with friends of Life Action.

Communications and Analysis:

A strategic area in our ministry working with analysis of multiple sources of information, and executing strategic communications. We have been blessed with large amounts of revival information from 40 years of ministry, coupled with the technical systems available to us. We are seeking to utilize this information to expand our vision and provide useful tools to support our mission.

Interactive Media:

An ever-changing field working with audio, video, web-casting, pod-casting, PowerPoint, and many other technological areas of ministry. This area also involves maintaining video, DVD, and CD libraries, as well as helping with special media projects (audio and video taping, photography, etc.).

Office Management:

This challenging area has the responsibility of helping to manage the network of offices at our National Ministry Center--maintaining an orderly, efficient work facility that is attractive and comfortable for staff and visitors, and portrays a spirit of excellence. This requires a responsible leader who believes in equipping others and is willing to work with a group of people who love to serve. Must have a vision for "behind the scenes" ministry, and a willingness to use gifts and abilities to make this ministry successful.

IT Systems and PC Support Specialists:

Individuals to facilitate effective use of personal computers by training users in specific software packages, helping users solve software and hardware problems, and monitoring software and hardware inventory: Keep detailed records of user and machine problems and resolutions; ensure regular testing and maintenance is done on all in-house personal computers. Experience in Windows 98/2003, Outlook 2003, and Microsoft Software will be gained. Additional experience could involve Crystal Reports, Windows NT Server, and SQL databases. Excellent communication skills and teaching skills are needed.

Staff Services:

Will participate with a team of others in processing applications, recruiting staff, maintaining employment records and data bases, and working with policies, procedures, and compliance issues. This servant position will gain experience in good telephone/e-mail communication skills, people skills, organization, and time management. Will require a heart to assist individuals in their ministry and provide a foundation of organizational support to them. Must be able to discreetly handle confidential information.

Secretaries:

Various departmental needs for persons with secretarial interest and a willingness to work in a variety of projects. Experience will include word processing, correspondence, filing, collating, and telephone etiquette. Should be able to adequately prioritize work, and have some knowledge of working with office equipment, such as computers and copiers. We have secretarial needs in several departments, including Marketing, Administration, Ministry Relations, Editorial Services, Creative Services, and others.

Receptionist:

A fun opportunity that requires a warm and pleasant personality, and someone who enjoys telephone and e-mail communication. Other tasks include working closely with those involved with ministry calendar events and aiding the coordination of scheduled meetings.
