Marilyn and I are joining hands with a ministry called "One Cry". We along with thousands of other believers are believing God to send another "Great Awakening" to this land we call America! America's best days can be ahead if we as "The Church" seek our Lord in fasting and prayer for revival. Will you join us in this eternal effort!
Much Is at Stake, Part 2

In my previous blog, I talked very briefly about some of the reasons my Twitter followers gave for people not pursuing God for revival.
After four decades of revival ministry, I'm convinced that the most persistent objections are not usually based on external factors, but are driven by internal matters of the heart. Fueled by various forms of pride, we decide that we just "don't want to go there." The risks associated with honesty, humility, surrender, obedience, brokenness, repentance, and confession seem to outweigh any reward. Or so we think.
With so many reasons purported for resisting revival, is it possible that in the process we have unwittingly mothballed something that God intends for His people, and to advance His kingdom? Have we too quickly discounted or undermined the potential of divine visitations because we have been sidetracked by misconceptions or doubts?
My prayer is that Christians in America don't throw the baby out with the bathwater! Revival is not strictly Old Testament. The sovereignty of God does not negate means of grace. Revival is not just something from the past. Revival is not impossible in the "last days." In fact, in these final days, there is biblical reason to believe it will be a great season of revival as God enthusiastically makes ready His bride for His Son whom He deeply loves and cherishes (Rev. 19:7).
My prayer is that the Spirit of God will quicken all our hearts to realize that no objection is great enough to silence the fervent cry for the Father to come in great glory. Ultimately, whatever we call the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit, we need it more than anything else!
Would you join me in praying for revival this year? So much is at stake. So much can be accomplished for the Kingdom if only God's people were awakened to love the Lord their God with all their heart, all their soul, all their strength, and all their mind.
By the way, watch for the official launch of "OneCry: A Nationwide Call for Spiritual Awakening" this Friday. And go to www.OneCry.com to learn how you can become a part of this movement.

For years I have felt God's calling for His people to come together. I am watching our church slowly die...literally. The elders are very old, and don't want to hand over anything to anyone...anyone. I want to serve God doing whatever He will have us do, but I know our church has become SO focused on its self...it refuses to focus on anything outside of those doors. There is so much need out there, not just with the "unsaved" but the "saved" too. There are 3 of us from our church, that have already committed to a ministry, but we have no idea of that is going to look like. I feel this is what we want...to reach out in One Voice and cry out. We lost a dear friend this summer (not to death of body, but death of soul) and if we would have been focusing on anything other than ourselves, maybe his spiritual death could have been reversed. We still pray for him. There are a lot more like him out there...and we are all one choice away from being there. Thank you for listening to God's leading. I believe in this, and have been given a passion for this. Just wasn't sure "how". I am anxiously waiting to see your site go up today.
