“As for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love, answer me in your saving faithfulness.”
- Psalm 69:13
1 Our road teams are finishing meetings in three different states. Please pray that God will continue His reviving work in these congregations and grant rest and traveling mercies to the teams as they change ministry locations.
2 Pray for the Collegiate Impact staff as they continue to prepare for the national Collegiate Day of Prayer on the 23rd of this month. They are praying for 2,000 churches, groups, and individuals to join together and uphold this nation’s campuses before God’s throne.
3 Today and tomorrow, Revive Our Hearts is holding their very first international conference in the Dominican Republic. Pray for Nancy Leigh DeMoss and the team as they minister. Ask God to draw each woman to Himself and rekindle their love for Jesus.
4 Tomorrow, the White Team begins an 8-day summit at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Farmington, NM. Pray for receptive hearts to God’s truths, and pray that obedient, revived lives will result from their time together.
5 Pray for Steve Canfield, Jeremiah Canfield, and the Blue Team as they minister for one day at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN.
6 The Red Team is conducting an 8-day summit at Southside Baptist Church in Tyler, TX, this week. Please ask God to manifest His glory among these people and send corporate revival to their congregation.
7 Mark and Stephani Wuthnow have faithfully served the Lord with Life Action for the past 28 years. Their 23-year-old son, Andrew, was killed in a car accident in December. Please pray for them and their other 4 grown children as they continue to process their grief.
8 Rob and Laurie Kopf have recently moved to Buchanan, MI, from Little Rock, AR, to lead our Order Fulfillment Center. We are grateful God sold their home in Arkansas and provided a new home in Michigan in a very short time. Please pray that the Kopfs would transition well; they left four children and several grandchildren back in the Little Rock area.
9 Tomorrow, the Blue Team begins a 7-day family conference at Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, MS. Pray for Steve Canfield, Jeremiah Canfield, and the team as they minister in an unfamiliar format, and ask God to strengthen families in Himself during this time.
10 Several couples arrive at The Lodge today for a 3-day Couples’ Retreat, facilitated by Mike and Dana Lee. Join us in asking God to use this intimate time to strengthen and encourage these marriages.
11 Our traveling team members have been asked to submit their intentions for next year, whether they are planning to return for another year on the road or move on to new ministry locations. Please pray for God’s clear direction for them and for cheerful obedience from each one.
12 Pray for Lane Gordon and John Myers as they hold pre-summit meetings in Hermitage, TN, and Lodi, CA, today and tomorrow. Pray that God will call New Hope Baptist Church and The Home Church to prayer in preparation for meeting with Him in a fresh way.
13 Ed and Gayle Villalba are facilitating Romantic Reflections (a marriage retreat for pastors and their wives) today through Wednesday. Ask God to unite these couples’ hearts in their love and commitment to each other and in their ministry calling.
14 Join us in praise that our God is an active, covenant-keeping God of love. Thank Him for sending His uniquely begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to communicate His everlasting love to us!
15 We have several staff members with very significant housing, vehicle, and medical bills. Please intercede for them, that God will supply all of their needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
16 Peter and Michelle Davis have accepted the call to join our staff as the Camp Operations Director. Please pray for their family as they begin the process of developing their support team. They have three children, and they are all excited to make the transition from Ontario, Canada, to Buchanan, Michigan.
17 Please pray specifically for our staff children today. Ask God to draw them to Himself and make them trophies of His grace.
18 Today through Tuesday, several from the Revive Our Hearts team will be holding various meetings at the National Religious Broadcasters convention in Nashville, TN. Pray that these Christian communicators’ hearts would be stirred afresh with urgency to live and express the gospel message to a needy world.
19 The White Team is beginning a 4-day conference at First Baptist Church in Ruidoso, NM. Pray that these people’s hunger and thirst for God and His righteousness would increase exponentially during these days.
20 The Red Team is ministering at Mount Gilead Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. Pray for grace for the team and the congregation as they obey God together.
21 The Blue Team is conducting a 15-day summit at First Baptist Church in Oxford, MS. Pray for God’s presence to meet with this team and congregation in life-altering ways.
22 The Revive Our Hearts Advisory Board will be meeting today in Nashville, TN. Pray for Nancy DeMoss, Bob Lepine, Scott Melby, Byron Paulus, John Shelford, and Greg Thornton as they meet. Ask God to give them unity and clear direction as they offer advice regarding the future of this vital ministry.
23 Today is the national Collegiate Day of Prayer. Please join hearts with thousands of believers and churches across this nation to lift up our college students in prayer, asking God to send revival and spiritual awakening to college campuses throughout our land.
24 Today begins a two-day Can Prayer Save America? OneCry conference in Fresno, CA. Please pray for speakers Dave Kubal, John Bornschein, Dave Butts, and Jonathan Graff, as well as other key prayer leaders offering various workshops. Ask God to stir His people’s hearts to pray fervently for revival!
25 Ask God to meet His children’s financial needs and then prompt them to give out of their abundance or supply to meet the needs of others, as He directs. Pray that God would meet Life Action’s financial needs and provide needed support for individual staff members.
26 Pray for John Myers and Jimmy Herdklotz as they share in pre-summit ministry at Onancock Baptist Church in Onancock, VA, preparing this congregation for the Red Team’s upcoming ministry.
27 Our Staff Services Department is heading into a busy season as they interview and accept new team members to travel in the coming year. There are materials to mail, phone conversations to complete, questions to answer. Please pray for much grace for them during the coming months.
28 Pray for our Life Action Camp staff as they complete their winter task lists and prepare for a new season of retreats and family camps. Ask God to bring needy families to our facility to receive specific ministry from His Word and His servants.
29 Praise the Lord for His faithfulness to us every day of the year. Ask Him to send revival to your church and spiritual awakening to your community, for the sake of His name and the display of His glory!

Matthew 25:31-40 (HCSB)
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right,
‘Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat;
I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink;
I was a stranger and you took Me in;
I was naked and you clothed Me;
I was sick and you took care of Me;
I was in prison and you visited Me.’
“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?’
“And the King will answer them, ‘I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’”
Give
When was the last time you saw Jesus? Do you look for Him? Or do you try to avoid the needy people in your life? (See Luke 10:25-37.)
Perhaps you see people in need, you pray for them, and you firmly believe that God will provide for them. But what if you are His means of provision?
“What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, ‘Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead” (James 2:14-17 NIV).
In this difficult economy, there are many opportunities to see and serve Jesus. What has God entrusted you with? What resources has He given you to give to others?
Even when you don’t have many material possessions, you are rich. God has been so generous to us—even giving us Himself! Do you have anything that is too costly to give God? King David acknowledged, “Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand” (1 Chronicles 29:14).
Look for Jesus today. Pass along what He has given you, and thank Him for the opportunity to give generously.
