Ministry Updates

Last weekend the Blue Team traveled from North Carolina to Tennessee to begin a two-week summit at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett. This is a unique opportunity, as this church has well over 2,000 in attendance on Sunday mornings. We have been praying that God would move deeply in this congregation. When we asked Jeremiah Canfield, a revivalist on the Blue Team, how we can be praying for the team right now, he mentioned the following:

  • We have several additional outreach opportunities (pastors' conference, school chapels); pray for strength and good health for the team.
  • There are 400 children at this church, so we've added another children's club for this summit and brought in people from the Red Team.
  • The deadline for team members to decide whether or not they'll be coming back next year is Feb. 15; pray that this will not distract their focus.

The power of God is great! He has moved in some mighty ways during this revival. Teens, children, adults all being saved by the sweet love of Jesus! Hearts are stirred! Praise God!

I have turned my noise up to GOD for my own reason's. It took a lot of pressure & pushing to get me to attend the service/rivival but I did. My first day was Feb 5th & I went only for my boyfriend of 7 years. I thought whats the point. For me I'm a lost cause but, it meant a lot to him, & the world to his mother. When I walked in the door feb. 5th I thought to myself...really 4 hours on a sat. what could I really learn & do these people know that super bowl is coming up, I work like crazy & i just dont have time for this 4 hour class. Well there was great music that came on & a couple that was me & my boyfriend 7 years ago. So I stayed. I told myself to let it go. Whatever was keeping me from coming to just let it go & have an open mind for the next few hours. I wasnt sure why because im not one to let things go, but I felt I had to. Since that day I have prayed. I have got down on my knees & really prayed! Im still learning so much but I'm praying. Im talking to GOD the way I should & noticing my faults! With all that said I want to thank GOD! I would thank you but You told me to thank God. I thank you GOD for all you are & hope that I become the person you want me to be. Thank you GOD, Jane

GLORY TO GOD!! THIS HAS BEEN AN ABSOLUTE AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR MY FAMILY AND I!! THIS TEAM HAS BEEN SO DEDICATED TO OUR CHURCH FAMILY IN THESE TWO WEEKS. NONE OF US HERE AT FAITH WANT THEM TO LEAVE. LET ME TELL EVERYONE WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE FOR MY FAMILY THROUGH LIFE ACTION...MY MARRIAGE HAS BEEN RESTORED, WE HAVE SURRENDERED TO OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAYS AND YEARS AHEAD. WE, AS AFAMILY, HAVE REMOVED EVERY BIT OF FILTH IN THE HOUSE. THIS INCLUDES MOVIES, GAMES AND CABLE CHANNELS. HOW EMBARRASSED WE WERE TO KNOW THAT CHRIST, WHO IS WITH US AT ALL TIMES, HAD SIT THROUGH ALL THAT FILTH AND FOULNESS ON TV, RADIO AND GAMES!! OUR CHILDREN WERE ALL IN AND READY TO THROW THIS OUT. NOT SELL, NOT DONATE, NO YARD SALES, SIMPLY THROW AWAY!! WE DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THIS FILTH IN THEIR HOMES! WE HAVE DAILY FAMILY DEVOTIONS, WHICH OUR CHILDREN, AGES 15, 12, AND 11 ABSOLUTELY LOVE. WE ARE BEING OBEDIENT TO THE LORD IN REGARD TO TITHING! AND IT FEELS WONDERFUL TO GIVE TO HIM WHAT IS ALREADY HIS. MY HUSBAND HAS STEPPED AS SPIRITUAL LEADER IN THE HOUSE AND LOVES HOW GOD IS SHOWING UP EVERY DAY IN ANSWERED PRAYERS. WE WERE BROKEN AS A FAMILY, AS A MARRIAGE, DISOBEDIENT, AMONG SO MANY OTHER THINGS! BUT CHRIST HAS RENEWED US! AND HE IS WORKING IN OUR LIVES! THANK YOU LIFE ACTION TEAM!!!

Since Life Action left Faith, I decided to challenge my daughter who is in college in Murray Ky. to do 1 good deed each day. This has opened a door for positive conversation with her. She feels good about herself, she is gaining respect & trying to make better decisions. I have thanked God for this opportunity He suggested & challenge others with young adult children who make wrong decisions over & over. It seems to be positive for Lauren. Also, it has opened the door of communication with her & I can get small doses of spiritual guidance in her without her realizing & she asks questions. This is a BIG deal for us & her. Thank you Life Action for giving me tools in which we can help our daughter. My prayer is that one day she will come back to Jesus. On her own. Thank you Lord for waiting on her. until all know Him, Renee'

I just read Jane Bray's response...I laughed when she said "...really 4 hours on a sat." (felt the same way...just being honest)...then I read on...and tears started rolling down my face for what He is doing in your life. I also thank the Alpha and Omega God we serve...I also get on my knees every morning and the first thing I say is, " God, I need you..."
