God On the Move at UNH

After the Saturday morning message at the University of New Hampshire fall retreat, Leo approached Dave Warn from Life Action's Collegiate Impact to talk about deep struggles in his life. After dealing with these areas and asking the Holy Spirit to fill him, Leo exclaimed, "I have never felt so free!"

Leo was only the beginning of the changes God had in mind. After the evening message, most of the 82 students publicly confessed sin, coming to the cross for forgiveness and renewed life in Christ. This continued for nearly three hours before everyone began to worship the Lord with praise music. One person reported, "Over the weekend, God hijacked 50-60 of these students' lives!"

God is using Collegiate Impact to encourage campus ministries to experience the power of brokenness, unity, and prayer to attract God's presence. Please pray for two upcoming opportunities:

An Ivy League Opportunity

Collegiate Impact
is currently in dialogue with campus ministries at Brown University (Providence, RI) to determine if God is leading them to join a two-year unified effort led by Collegiate Impact to see lives changed and the campus transformed. Brown University, Chuck Colson's alma mater, is one of the most influential schools in our nation.

The Collegiate Day of Prayer

What would happen if our nation stopped to seek God on behalf of its 18.2 million college students? The Collegiate Day of Prayer has been reestablished by Collegiate Impact and partnering ministries to give the body of Christ an opportunity to pray for our colleges and universities. Will you join us on February 23, 2012? Register at www.CollegiateDayofPrayer.com.
