“God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us,
Selah
That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.
Let the peoples praise You, O God;
Let all the peoples praise You.”
- Psalm 67:1-3
1 Ryan Loveing, Ben Slenk, and the Revival Conference Team minister through tomorrow at Fellowship Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia. Pray that the congregation would thoroughly obey all that God's Spirit says to them.
2 Laine Johnson, Wilson Green, and the Red Team continue to minister through next Wednesday at Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence, Mississippi. Pray for wisdom as the church and team leadership determine the greatest needs in the congregation and how God wants to meet these.
3 Indianapolis is the venue for the True Woman revive '11 women's conference, hosted by Revive Our Hearts, convening tomorrow and Saturday. Pray for safety in travel and for open, prepared hearts for all involved—speakers, musicians, facilitators, and participants.
4 Ask God to powerfully communicate His heart to the women's ministry leaders attending revive '11 this weekend. Especially cover with your prayers speakers Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Susan Hunt, Crawford Loritts, and worship leader Fernando Ortega.
5 Pray for the women's ministry leaders returning to their homes and churches following the revive '11 conference in Indianapolis, that they would carry with them a vision for biblical womanhood, a deeper commitment to regular time in God's Word, and creative ideas for communicating what God has shown them.
6 Fathers and sons finish their Quest weekend at the Life Action Camp today. Pray that God will continue to work deeply in their relationships as they enjoy a few more concentrated hours together before traveling home.
7 The Revival Conference Team began a 4-day THIRST conference yesterday at Pine Terrace Baptist Church in Milton, Florida. Pray that God's presence and power will be very evident as Ryan, Ben, and the team minister.
8 Steve Canfield, Jeremiah Canfield, and the Blue Team opened a 15-day summit Sunday at Ogden Church in Adrian, Michigan. Pray that the people will respond whole-heartedly to God's Word and Spirit, experiencing deep spiritual awakening and refreshing.
9 Dave Warn, director of Collegiate Impact, asks that you pray for God's financial equipping in every area as the staff near the end of 2011's ministry to college students and faculty members across our nation.
10 Pray for God's financial provision this month, as November is often the lowest point of revenue for our ministry. Pray that God supernaturally provides all that is needed to underwrite the outreaches He has placed on the hearts of our staff.
11 Cover Byron Paulus, our Executive Director, and his wife, Sue, with your prayers today. Pray that they would be continually spiritually refreshed in God's Word, faithful to their God-given priorities, and that Byron would have great wisdom and energy as he leads this ministry.
12 Mark Bearden, Wilson Green, and the Red Team begin an 8-day summit tomorrow at Friendship Baptist Church in Paducah, Kentucky. Pray for the overwhelming presence and power of God here, leading to deep obedience and genuine revival.
13 Gregg Simmons and Ben Slenk lead the Revival Conference Team in an 8-day summit at Bethesda Baptist Church in Brownsburg, Indiana. Cover the team and congregation with your prayers, pleading with God to do a deep and lasting work of His Spirit during these days.
14 Byron Paulus speaks today at the Alabama Baptist State Convention pastors' conference. Please ask the Lord to anoint him with power and speak through him as he shares on the topic of revival. Pray that the leaders attending would passionately seek the Lord to send genuine, Spirit-led revival to our nation.
15 Pastors and their wives began a week-long retreat yesterday at The Lodge. Ask God to meet deep needs on their behalf, spiritually refreshing and preparing them for days ahead.
16 Lift up our Revival Conference Team in your prayers today as they continue to minister in Brownsburg, Indiana, as well as prepare to leave on a missions trip to El Salvador at the end of next week.
17 Our Facilities and Maintenance Department asks for prayer as they ready our facilities for winter, as well as work on a staff house at the camp and renovate a chalet for Family Camp.
18 Pray for protection over the unity of our staff revivalists and their wives, who share very transparently during summits regarding "where God found them" and how He has transformed past failures into present ministry. Ask that they continue to be deeply committed to each other.
19 Keep praying for needed resources and for construction to progress smoothly on the new Revive Our Hearts studio and office space at our National Ministry Center in Michigan.
20 Our pre-summit speakers appreciate your prayers as they minister this weekend at Ellendale Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee, and Cook Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana.
21 In conjunction with other campus ministries, Collegiate Impact will host an Ignition Conference for Ivy League students this January. Pray for the leadership team as they plan and prepare, desiring God's power to be revealed on all eight Ivy League schools throughout the spring semester.
22 Collegiate Impact and campus ministries at Montana State University have been greatly blessed by joining in a Jericho Partnership the past two years, which emphasizes brokenness, repentance, holiness, prayer, and unity, as well as outreach to the lost. Pray for God's leading as CI looks to start another Jericho Partnership in 2012.
23 Pray for the wives on our traveling teams as they specifically minister each week to the church ladies through a special luncheon, as well as being available for one-on-one counseling.

28 Dan Puckett leads the Red Team in an 8-day summit at First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville, Indiana, this week. Pray that God's Spirit will begin a mighty work in this community.
29 Pray for lay couples who share their life-transformation stories on pre-summit weekends, that God would greatly use their words to influence others.
30 Pray for Jason and Terri Theriault, and recent intern Hannah Gaul, as they are currently raising their missionary support base, allowing them to serve as full-time Life Action staff members.
Live
Obedience to God produces a "ripple effect." Like a drop of water hitting the smooth surface of a pond and immediately sending out ever-widening circles, the power of a changed life profoundly affects those around it.
Our leadership serve because of what God has done in their own lives. When our revivalists share their life stories, they don't omit their own failures. They believe that recounting God's work of grace gives hope to those listening.
Years ago, one "behind the scenes" staff member obeyed God's direction and shared with a congregation how God had changed his life in a specific area. He related how he felt as a boy when two soldiers came to his family's home with the devastating news that his older brother, a soldier and his hero, had been killed in Vietnam. He harbored deep bitterness and blame, resulting in damaged relationships.
Years later, God broke through the bitterness, calling him to repentance and forgiveness. When he obeyed, the broken relationships were restored.
As he finished telling his story, two military officers walked into the back of the sanctuary to inform a woman that her soldier son had lost his life in conflict. The woman would later say that God used the story she heard that night to give her the spiritual stamina to face the days ahead.
Obedience to God changes a life, and a life, and a life . . .
Give
Sometimes it's easy to give our money, our talents, our goods to God, but avoid really giving ourselves to Him in obedience. When God's Spirit convicts us in specific areas, He usually makes it clear that our submission to His leading will require some steps of action, which His grace will give us power to accomplish.
Often we brush His promptings aside, especially if the obedience requires painful humility, and we go on with all the outward trappings of being a "good Christian" without experiencing a changed heart. This kind of life falls short of producing the supernatural fruit that nourishes the spirits of others.
Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5) are a biblical example of a couple whose generosity to God's work seemed impeccable, but they had made a pact regarding their gift that included lying about the amount. Their plans seemed to provide temporal security, but obedience would have been life-saving.
Shortly after secretly keeping some of the money they claimed they had given, they would never need it again. Their lifeless bodies were carried out of the assembly. God made it clear that He cares about the deepest intents of our hearts. Fear was the negative ripple effect of this sin.
Obey whatever it is that God is specifically prompting in your spirit; obey Him cheerfully, without delay. Then experience the deep joy of giving out of an honest and liberated heart.
