Ministry Prayer Calendar

"Give yourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. If you do not pray, God will probably lay you aside from your ministry, as He did me, to teach you to pray."
- Robert Murray McCheyne

The ministry travel year has now ended. Please pray for our Road Team Leadership as they meet today and tomorrow to review God's work this past year and seek His guidance for the 2010-2011 travel year.

Pray for physical stamina and clear thinking for Nancy Leigh DeMoss today as she records for future Revive Our Hearts radio programs. Pray that she would cast herself on God and sense His supernatural empowering.

Today and tomorrow our Pastoral Services Council members gather for their annual meetings. Pray that they would sense God's direction and discernment to shepherd Life Action in the following areas: Mission, Pastoral Care/Shepherding, and Message/Theology.

Please pray for our Accounting Department to be thorough and accurate as they prepare for our annual financial audit in July.

Pray that our staff would continue to use their time wisely and efficiently today. May we ever have God's grace to be good stewards of the time and talents He has entrusted to us!

Ask God today to burden many pastors for holiness in their congregations. Also pray that He would direct many to contact Life Action about conducting a revival summit or THIRST conference in their churches.

Today, this summer's first full week of Family Camp begins at Life Action Camp. Please pray for wisdom as Tom Harmon shares from his life and God's Word, and pray for the families to grow in their relationships with God and each other.

Thank God for our IT staff, who do so much for the ministry by servicing our networks and computers. Please pray for them especially this month, as they will be busy updating the road teams' computers.

Praise the Lord for Patty Hamilton, the head of our Data Processing Department, who has cheerfully and faithfully served with Life Action for four years. She requests prayer for continued accuracy in her detailed work.

Pray that God would especially bless and refresh our road team revivalists and their families this summer as they rest after a busy year of traveling around the country, living in fifth-wheel trailers and ministering to thousands of people.

Dave Warn, director of Collegiate Impact, and his wife, Renae, have served with Life Action for eight years. Please pray that this summer they will be refreshed and that they will grow in their relationship with God and each other. Pray also that their two boys will know and love the Lord.

Intercede today for the many poor and mistreated people around the world. Pray that they may come to hear, know, and trust Jesus as their Savior, and ask God to meet their spiritual and physical needs.

Pray for Sunday school teachers across our nation today to lovingly and accurately share with children God's Word. Pray that many children will respond in obedience to following Jesus.

All this week, a Pastors' Retreat is being held at The Lodge. Please pray for the facilitators and attendees to connect and openly communicate, so that burdens may be lifted and lives changed for God's glory and the furtherance of His kingdom.

Today, Byron Paulus will emcee the annual Forum on Revival luncheon at the Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida. Ask God to deepen in His people a passion for revival, which brings hope for changed hearts, communities, and nations.

As the second week of Family Camp continues, please pray for safety, an enjoyable time, and spiritual transformation for everyone as Mark Vroegop challenges families from God's Word.

Last month, Ted and Sandy Kadow, a retired couple who served with Life Action for six years, moved to Tennessee to be closer to their family. Praise the Lord for finally selling their home in Michigan. Please pray that He will continue to bless them and guide their steps.

Intercede for our country's television and movie industry to be convicted of the rampant immorality they promote.

Byron Paulus will speak tomorrow at Bay Harbor Church, a unique ministry at a summer resort in Michigan. Pray that God will prepare people's hearts and draw them to attend, and ask Him to minister to Byron's heart as he teaches.

This Father's Day, praise the Lord for the gift of godly fathers who faithfully love and serve God, their wives, and their children. For those who don't have such a father, pray that God will bring this kind of man into their lives to model His faithful love and care for them.

As another week of Family Camp begins, ask God to give all who attend a hunger and thirst for His presence and power in their lives year-round. Ask God to also give Tom Harmon the grace and strength he needs to teach a second family camp week this month.

Praise the Lord for His unending faithfulness to us, even when we are not faithful to Him.

Please pray that God will begin preparing hearts and messages of the speaker team and workshop session leaders for the True Woman conference in Indianapolis September 23-25.

Life Action recently received beautiful new kitchen cabinets for our National Ministry Center's cafeteria. Praise the Lord with us for this generous gift, and pray that we can finish the rest of the kitchen quickly and efficiently.

Please pray today for Mark and Stephani Wuthnow, who have served with Life Action for over 26 years. Mark is our Accounting Manager, helping to oversee the daily recording and reporting of our finances. Now that their five children are grown, Stephani has recently begun a home-based writing business and published a book about music for children.

Please pray for God's grace to rest heavily on Collegiate Impact, as this ministry continues to bring the message of a Christ-centered awakening to campuses across our nation. Pray also that God would draw many college students to Himself this summer, while they are not so busy with schoolwork and activities.

Pray for Wes Ward as he directs Revive Our Hearts' media and marketing. His passion in serving is "to see women living radically biblical, fearless-in-God, Christcentered lives." Pray also that God will give Wes and Carrie wisdom in raising their four young children to know and love Jesus.

This week holds another Pastors' Retreat at The Lodge. Pray that God will abundantly bless the pastoral couples attending with renewed vision and passion for the ministry He has called them to.

The fourth week of Family Camp is already here! Please pray for fresh energy and passion for the Camp staff as they serve the many families attending. Also, pray for Murrill Boitnott to accurately and carefully handle God's Word of truth as he speaks this week.

Today, Nancy DeMoss will be recording Revive Our Hearts radio programs in front of a live audience for the second time this month. Ask God to give her peace and discernment, and pray that He will give the broadcasting team wisdom and attentiveness throughout the day.
