Ministry Prayer Calendar

"The coming revival must begin with a great revival of prayer. It is in the closet, with the door shut, that the sound of abundance of rain will first be heard. An increase of secret prayer with ministers will be the sure harbinger of blessing."
- Andrew Murray

1 Pray that unsaved people will no longer foolishly ignore Jesus Christ, the one true lover of their souls. May God open their spiritually darkened hearts to the wonder of His grace and love!

2
As you remember Christ's crucifixion this Good Friday, ask God what specific sins you need to crucify so that you may better represent Christ and lead people to Him.

3
Laurie Klein, our Children's Ministry Coordinator, has served with Life Action for eight years. Praise the Lord for her spirit of excellence and joy and for her positive impact on children's ministers and children throughout the years. Please pray for wisdom and guidance as she prepares for her upcoming marriage in May.

4
Praise God that Jesus conquered death for us and still lives, loves, and intercedes for us today! May you live wholeheartedly for His glory.

5
While the Revive Our Hearts team gets resituated from the True Woman conference in Chattanooga March 25-27, ask the Lord to refresh them in a mighty way.

6
Please pray for the Collegiate Impact staff—Dave Warn, Sunu Thomas, and Wesley Bullard-as they seek to see students and campuses transformed for the glory of God.

7
Pray for our nation's children, as many live in spiritually and emotionally broken homes. Pray that God, their loving heavenly Father, would protect them from the Evil One and create within them a desperate longing for Him.

8
Ask God to instill within His people a desire for simplicity in our materialistic culture. "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it" (1 Tim. 6:6-7).

9
Intercede for God's people to have a deepening burden to pray, so that church prayer meetings will be reestablished and overflowing. May people be dissatisfied with life as it is and long for much more—God's glorious presence and transformation in our midst!

10
This weekend Lane Gordon will be conducting pre-summit meetings at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Glasgow, Kentucky. Pray for safety as he travels and for God's guidance as he speaks. Pray also that God will burn within the people's hearts a vision and passion for God visiting them.

11
Today the Blue Team begins a 15-day summit at East White Oak Bible Church in Carlock, Illinois. Intercede for Steve Canfield and Jeremiah Canfield as they lead, and for the people as they seek God for revival. May God be pleased to show them His beauty and power!

12
Paula Hendricks has served with Revive Our Hearts for almost five years. Please pray that God will strengthen her to do her job as a staff writer well, and that He will daily satisfy her with His unfailing love.

13
Ask God to powerfully intervene in the crumbling marriages in and outside of the church today. Pray that husbands and wives will learn to humbly serve and give, no longer trying to manipulate and control.

14
As the Revival Conference Team finishes a THIRST conference at First Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma, pray that God will give them energy and passion to minister effectively.

15
The Red Team is in the midst of an 8-day summit at First Baptist Church in Gentry, Arkansas. Pray that God would especially move hearts that are reluctant to obey His Word.

16
As the Life Action Camp hosts a MoMENtum men's retreat this weekend, please pray that the men will come with hearts hungry for God. Also, pray for divine wisdom as Tom Harmon encourages the men to "rev up" their progress in their journey with God.

17
Charles Archer, our Business and Finance Director, lost his wife to ALS a little over a year ago. Pray that God will continue giving him comfort, strength, and encouragement as he misses her.

18
Today the Revival Conference Team begins a THIRST conference at Concord Baptist Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Pray that Ryan Loveing will speak boldly and accurately as he shares God's Word, and that God's Spirit would bring conviction and repentance to the congregation.

19
Phillip and Michele Wilson have faithfully served with Life Action for 15 years. Phillip currently works on special projects for our Executive Director. Pray for wisdom as they seek to raise their four young children to love God and others.

20
Collegiate Impact is believing God for campus-wide transformation at Montana State University through their Jericho Partnership. They also desire to partner with a second university. Pray that God will reveal the campus He wants them to minister to, and ask God to pour out His Spirit at MSU.

21
Life Action's Service Ministries Division consists of the following departments: Accounting, Staff Services, Information Technology, Resources, and Facilities and Maintenance. These represent many people who faithfully work "behind the scenes" to support various other divisions. Ask God to meet with them in a special way and reward them as they diligently continue in the ministry He has given them. Also, pray that the Lord would equip and encourage Allen Mazelin as he leads and oversees this division.

22 Today through Saturday, a Times of Refreshing retreat for Women's Ministry Directors is taking place at The Lodge. Pray that as these women step away from the demands of ministry, they will be encouraged, refreshed, and renewed.

23 About a month ago, the True Woman conference in Chattanooga began. Thank the Lord for the women He brought to the conference, and ask Him to continue and multiply the work He started in their hearts.

24 Please uphold Byron Paulus in prayer as he continues to lead Life Action as Executive Director and President. Pray that the Lord would refresh him with renewed energy and grant him wisdom, discernment, and creativity.

25 The Red Team is at Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Ask for God's hand to be on the team and congregation, accomplishing the permanent change only His Spirit can do.

26 A Pastors' Retreat begins today and goes through Friday at The Lodge. Pray that God would greatly minister to these couples during this time.

27 The Revival Conference Team is in the midst of a 4-day THIRST conference at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Muncie, Indiana. Ask God to do a lasting, mighty work in the people's hearts.

28 Wilson and Laura Green have served with Life Action since 1999, currently as Family Revivalist on the Red Team. Please ask God to give them wisdom and grace as they minister to families across the country.

29 Ask God to bless and encourage the many crisis pregnancy centers that seek to point girls to Jesus and toward choosing life for their unborn child. Pray that many with unwanted pregnancies will see life's value and beauty, and not give in to Satan's lies.

30 Praise the Lord for the gift of the Holy Spirit indwelling each believer. Without His help, we could do nothing of eternal value.
