Ministry Updates

The following are real-life stories of God at work in the lives of pastors and leaders. We praise the Lord for the way he is restoring lives through Life Action's outreaches.

  • I have been in despair for months. It's manifested itself in lots of anger toward my husband and family, leading me even toward suicidal thoughts. He's refreshed my love for Him, renewed PASSION for Him and His church.
  • God found me at a loss, dishonest with myself and others. I was being "fake" with everyone. Now, I have repented. I have started forgiving and asking for forgiveness. I am praying; not just praying, but falling to my knees and face, calling out to my Lord. He hears me—He really hears me!
  • God found me thirsty, almost dehydrated. He quenched the thirst I have had for a long time.
  • God found me on the defensive, but now I am submissive to the Word. Where there were the seed of complacency, now there is a drive. Tuesday night I went up to pray with another brother, to deal with our hearts and make us better dads. After I had cried out, I heard a familiar voice praying as well—my thirteen year-old son was there praying for me! I had never heard him pray like that, but now here he was with me at my side praying, a new step in our relationship and hope renewed!
  • God found me surprisingly content with a lukewarm status quo. Through the meetings and through the examples of the families involved in this ministry, I WANT MORE ... more of a relationship with God, my husband, and my children. I want to fully accept God's forgiveness and grace. I want to be authentic, 100% His!
  • God found me thirsty, full of doubts, and deeply grounded in my own needs. Through the messages my heart got softened. All hardness disappeared, and a new fresh approach to my spiritual life, both to God and to my neighbors, was installed. I found that God Himself and only He is enough for me. My priorities were reset, and now I feel I'm in the right place with the right perspective, ready for what God has prepared for my future and ready for whatever He wants me to do toward the world.
