The following testimonies are from a wife, her husband, and their three teenage daughters. They all share their side of the story of one changed life that will now change others.
"I am a mother of five children, and in my heart I was preparing to separate from my husband. As we came each night throughout the week, my hope in our reconciliation waned. I didn't think the Lord was getting through the high, thick walls my husband had built around his heart. I was losing hope that his anger would ever end. On the last day of our summit, I discovered I had been wrong. My husband poured out his heart of repentance to us. He was able to share with our children how God had used the family revivalist to help break down those walls, through his counsel to us. My three teenage daughters wept for joy! My littlest daughter got to witness the first kiss my husband had given me in over a year. My son had a time to talk to Dad, man to man. We now have hope in what has been a long and weary battle for our marriage. Praise God for using all of the preparation, service, and prayers of Life Action Ministries." (wife)
"You have been a godsend! My marriage and my family were falling apart. The "S" word (separation) and the "D" word (divorce) were being thrown around for the last 6 months or longer. I have five children that are all saved, and they don't deserve this at all. God has for the last 8 days been chipping away at my hardened heart, and He has succeeded to open my heart and eyes. Today, after the first service, I took my wife to an empty room and poured out my heart; and it didn't stop there. When we got home, we sat at the dining table and asked each child what the revival has done. Then I asked forgiveness for how I have treated their mother and them. They forgave me, and now the work begins, but I was looking forward to total restoration. Thank you very much, Life Action revivalists, for a real awakening. May God bless both of you and your entire team." (husband)
"Since I was five, my parents have always argued. These past few years I had given up hope that my dad would ever change. He was constantly staying away from my family, and I began to wonder if he even loved us anymore. Then this revival happened, and it has radically changed my family. My dad confessed to us some of the things he has been struggling with and asked for our forgiveness. This was incredible because he used to make excuses for his anger and for yelling at us. He explained to my family that God had just been chipping at his heart this week, convicting my dad and prompting him to change. Words cannot describe my joy right now, because I have been praying for him for many years. Knowing that my dad wants to have a relationship with me, the fact that he exposed his faults is a testimony that he does care about us. I saw my parents hug and kiss for the first time in over a year. He has revived my family." (teen)
"God used this revival to show me that I was really bitter toward my dad. He has not had a good relationship with my mom. They argued about everything. This last year it was getting worse as they never hugged or kissed. My dad slept on the couch. My dad was very angry, harboring bitterness from his childhood. During the Thursday sermons, God really convicted me. (I would always say I was okay. My relationship with God was not great, and I was not reading my Bible, although I hope to do that now.) The revivalist was talking about how we really need to forgive, and the youth leader had been talking about respecting your parents. And I was definitely not doing that, not obeying him, making sarcastic remarks, not respecting him. God showed me that I need to forgive him, and I did. What is also really awesome was that today, our family sat down at the table, and my dad told us he was really sorry and asked us to forgive him. It was neat because I already had. He even told us he is getting an accountability partner. I thank God that my dad finally, after 7 years, has decided to change." (teen)
"Before Life Action came to our church, I was bitter, angry and wasn't respecting my dad. I didn't want to because he was mean to my mom and my family. I didn't want to be around him, and I was mean back. He didn't listen when we tried to tell him he had an anger problem, but I kept praying for 14 years. Just tonight my family and I, along with my dad, had a heart-to-heart talk. He told me that he was sorry for how he had been and that he wanted to stop doing what he was doing and be with me and my family. I had waited and waited so long to hear those words. Thank you, thank you, and thank you for coming here. This week was awesome. I'm closer to God than I have ever been." (teen)

I pray that you will be blessed to grow together in love for each other, and remember when we put God first other things will fall into their proper place.
