Ministry Prayer Calendar

“Often during the meetings, great waves of prayer would sweep the congregation. So many were moved to prayer that I barely had time to give my addresses. Innumerable wrongs were righted during those days.” – Jonathan Goforth describing a revival in China, 1907

1 Tomorrow our entire staff begins meeting for our annual Revival Week. Pray that we will seek the Lord together, trusting Him to ignite a fresh passion in our hearts to live as authentic Christians.

2
Intercede for our staff Revival Week’s opening tonight, that hearts will be soft, open, and obedient to God’s voice.

3
Ask God to give wisdom to our speakers, worship leaders, and ministry leaders regarding direction and focus during this week’s revival messages.

4
During this Revival Week, pray that our staff and team members would quickly resolve any conflict or tension among themselves through the power of the cross, so that the Holy Spirit’s work will not be hindered.

5
As our staff’s children and teens meet separately this week, please pray for a great move of God’s Spirit in the lives of these precious young people.

6
Please cover our staff revivalists in prayer today: Steve Canfield, Laine Johnson, and Ryan Loveing. Intercede for them and their families as they prepare for the upcoming year of summits across the United States.

7
Please pray for our team worship leaders and family revivalists as they prepare for the new summit year, which begins next month: Ben Canfield, Jeremiah Canfield, Jimmy Finch, Wilson Green, Nate Kingsley, and Ben Slenk.

8
Many families spent a week this summer at a Life Action family camp. Ask God to continue working in their lives, keeping their hearts and homes close to Him and reminding them of the principles learned during their time here.

9
Byron Paulus ministers today at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina, preparing the church for a Life Action summit later this fall. Pray that God will use his words effectively and powerfully.

10
Collegiate Impact staff members Dave Warn, Sunu Thomas, and Wesley Bullard are writing a discipleship series that focuses on personal and campus transformation. Pray that God will mightily use these materials on campuses throughout our nation.

11
Singers, children’s ministers, technical staff, financial clerks, school teachers, vehicle drivers, and all other road team members are training right now at our camp. Pray that they will be effectively prepared for a year of fruitful ministry.

12
Pray for the Revive Our Hearts Advisory Board, meeting today through Saturday, as they pray and plan for current and future ministry. The meetings include Bob Lepine, Byron Paulus, John Shelford, Greg Thornton, and Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

13
Revive Our Hearts radio is relocating their recording process from Little Rock, Arkansas, to our National Ministry Center in Buchanan, Michigan. Please pray for the team as they prepare this new infrastructure.

14
Registration opened this month for three True Woman ’10 conferences. Pray that many women will plan now to attend so they can experience the life-changing messages on biblical womanhood.

15
We thank God for the new family-sized cabin recently finished at our camp. Pray that it will be used frequently and powerfully to encourage families in their walk with the Lord.

16
Pre-summit ministry is taking place today at Heritage Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee, and Ira Baptist Church in West Rutland, Vermont. Ask God to prepare these congregations for a deep, far-reaching work of His Spirit in the days ahead.

17
Our iMedia team presents Life Action Ministries’ outreaches to individuals worldwide through our website and print. Pray that they will communicate accurately and that many will read and be moved by the revival principles and accounts of the Holy Spirit’s movement in our day.

18 Sandy Bixel serves with Revive Our Hearts as Executive Assistant to Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Pray that God will anoint her with His grace and power to meet the exciting opportunities and challenges she and her staff anticipate in the upcoming days.

19
Cover Life Action’s Board of Directors in prayer today: David Cooke, Bill Eliff, Chuck Halford, Richard Magnussen, Byron Paulus, Paul Redmon, John Shelford, Walter Price, and Ron Whiteford. How grateful we are for their willingness to serve and lead!

20
The Board of Directors will be meeting with Life Action’s leadership this week for our annual board meetings. Pray for wisdom as they seek to provide godly counsel and direction.

21
Collegiate Impact is serving campus ministers at Montana State University this month and throughout the fall. Pray that streams of living water will flow from these ministers to the driest, darkest parts of their campus.

22
This month is extremely busy for Dan Puckett as he prepares drivers and equipment for the summit year beginning in September. Please cover Dan and his wife, Vicci, with your prayers.

23
John Myers is the pre-summit speaker today at Waller Baptist Church in Waller, Texas. Pray for God’s hand to cover this time and prepare hearts for our team’s ministry there this fall.

24
When our summit teams start traveling soon, they will be driving various vans, people movers, semi-trucks, and a bus. Pray for their safety as well as for those driving near them this year.

25
Podcasts are a ministry provided through our websites (www.ReviveOurHearts.com and www.LifeAction.org). Pray that many will not only find and listen to them but also respond to God’s Word.

26
The Seeking Him study is designed for individuals and groups, leading them through the key scriptural principles our teams cover in church summits. Pray that God will continue to powerfully use this written tool to instruct hearts and minds in His ways.

27
JR Rohrman represents Life Action Ministries to those interested in helping us through prayer and finances. Pray for JR and Kathy and their four sons as they serve to bring the message of Christ’s kingdom to many.

28
This weekend, several Christian leaders from the National Revival Network will join two of Life Action’s leaders at The Lodge for a prayer and planning retreat.

29
True Woman ’10 conferences will take place in three locations: Chattanooga, Tennessee (March); Indianapolis, Indiana (September); and Ft. Worth, Texas (October). Please begin praying that God’s Spirit will be free to work mightily, even during these early days of preparation.

30
Revive Our Hearts is offering new help for moms and grandmothers and their “tween” daughters and granddaughters through the Pure in Heart conferences. Please pray for these strategic events scheduled in several cities across America, designed to plant seeds of purity in the next generation of young women.

31
More than 18 states—including Georgia, Vermont, Massachusetts, Alabama and Ohio—comprise the destinations of our Life Action teams this year. Pray with us that God would be pleased and free to send an outpouring of revival among His people and spiritual awakening among the lost, bringing glory and honor to His holy name.
