Ministry Prayer Calendar

“About three in the morning, as we [more than 65 men] were continuing instant in prayer, the power of God came mightily upon us. . . . We broke out with one voice, ‘We praise thee, O God; we acknowledge thee to be the Lord!’”  – John Wesley describing Fetter Lane prayer meeting, January 1, 1739

Pray for the wives and mothers on our road team staff as they help their families transition from summer ministry and family time to the Staff Training schedule and then a new year of summit meetings.

Dave Warn believes that God’s clear direction this spring was to cancel this year’s Institute of Campus Revival and Awakening at Yale University. Pray for God’s further direction as the Collegiate Impact staff seeks Him.

Steve Canfield is teaching at this week’s Family Camp. Pray for him and Debby as they make themselves available to the guests for instruction, counsel, and encouragement from God’s Word.

We long for our nation’s citizens to have a premier regard for God’s truth, whatever the cost, and to see people choose what is morally right over what is popular. Pray for God to work in hearts, shaping private lives and public decisions by the true freedom which comes from His Spirit.

Byron Paulus is speaking today at Bay Harbor Church, a ministry with an outreach to summer resort guests. Pray that God’s Word would deeply impact those listening.

Trent Griffith is this week’s Family Camp speaker. Ask God to use him and Andrea as catalysts for lasting spiritual growth as they personally minister to each family’s needs.

Please cover the Revive Our Hearts radio ministry in your prayers today. Ask for wisdom and power as the programs are planned and produced, that they would effectively influence many women to choose God’s priorities for their lives.

A recent feature on LifeAction.org is the Revive Media Channel. Pray that many will access these videos by various speakers on key revival topics and gain a deeper relationship with Christ as a result.

Several of our staff post Scripture-based thoughts and comments on web logs (blogs) with the intent of influencing readers to think from God’s point of view. Pray for wisdom as they write.

This weekend, several ministry supporters are meeting at The Lodge for a Partner Appreciation Weekend. Pray that these couples will be refreshed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Ernie Toledo, Guest Services Manager at the Life Action Camp, is available to meet the practical needs of our Family Camp guests. Pray for him and Diana Jo as they seek to mirror Christ in all they do.

Jeff Mann, Program Activities Coordinator at the Life Action Camp, finds very creative and memorable ways to illustrate God’s principles to our Family Camp guests. Pray for him and Maria as they serve and raise their own family also.

Murrill Boitnott is our Family Camp speaker this week. Lift up Murrill and Debra in prayer as they draw on God’s wisdom and their life experiences to influence our guests in eternal ways.

Please pray for Mark and Amy Bearden as they launch a Prayer Conference ministry, a new Life Action outreach to the local church, based out of Ft. Worth, Texas.

The Life Action Camp staff is literally available 24/7 for our Family Camp guests this summer. Ask God to supply His grace, energy, and wisdom to thoroughly meet each need that arises.

Byron Paulus, our Executive Director, is taking a few days to seek the Lord for wisdom and direction. Pray that God will guide his thoughts and prepare his heart for upcoming strategic events, and pray that he will truly hear from heaven as he seeks God’s face.

Life Action often requests guest writers and speakers to minister to our staff or to address our constituents on specific revival topics. Pray for God’s clear guidance regarding invitations to these individuals.

Lift up our Scheduling Department in prayer as they seek God’s clear direction in building the schedule for our three road teams. Our desire is to see God direct our teams’ itinerary, and for Him to produce “Revival Movements Everywhere.”

New singers and audio technicians arrive a few days early so they can learn this year’s music before the official opening of Staff Training. Pray that rehearsals will go well and that all involved will promote a spirit of Christ-centered unity.

Murrill and Debra Boitnott teach and minister to the Family Camp guests this week. Intercede for them as they apply God’s Word to the lives of their hearers.

Pastors and their wives gather at The Lodge this week for a Pastors’ Retreat. Please ask God to greatly refresh and bless these dear couples as our staff ministers to them.

Pray that as our ministry leaders gather for Leadership Development meetings, they would grow in their responsibilities and skills for God’s glory.

Jimmy Herdklotz serves as the Director of Life Action Camp. Pray for him and Lori today as they coordinate all the aspects of this summer’s Family Camps as well as prepare for Staff Training.

Jeff Herdklotz helps provide delicious meals to our Family Camp guests and all those who visit the camp year-round for special events. Pray for him and Judith today, for God’s provision and wisdom as they serve and raise their five children.

Life Action’s 39th Staff Training officially opens today. Cover our new and returning team members in prayer as they gather to prepare for a year of Spirit-led ministry.

Intercede for our road team revivalists, families, singers, children’s ministers, technicians, vehicle drivers, and schoolteachers as they intently prepare for this fall’s summit meetings over the next few weeks.

A Romantic Reflections retreat is in progress at The Lodge. Pray for refreshing times of Christ-centered growing and bonding for the guest couples.

Road team members in training are taking an Old Testament Survey class this week, provided by North Greenville University. Pray for a rich time of learning and growing as they study.

Please pray for Nancy DeMoss today as she willingly carries many responsibilities for Revive Our Hearts. Pray that God will equip her and her staff for the opportunities and challenges of the days ahead.

Revival Week begins Sunday for our entire ministry staff. Pray that as we seek the Lord together, hearing from speakers brought in to minister to us, our hearts will be sensitive and instantly obedient to whatever God shows us.

In any ministry, there is always the possibility that some, while serving outwardly, have never been changed inwardly through Christ’s transforming power. Pray especially during this upcoming Revival Week that any who are not truly born again will yield to our wonderful Savior and Lord.
