Now thank we all our God with heart and hands and voices;
Who wondrous things hath done, in whom his world rejoices;
Who, from our mother's arms, hath led us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today.
- German pastor Martin Rinkart, 1636, during the Thirty Years' War
Today, the Blue Team concludes their summit at Heritage Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. Pray that the people will faithfully live out the truths learned, creating a far-reaching impact in their community and beyond.
The Red Team just began a 15-day summit at Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland, Indiana. Pray that the team and congregation will humbly seek the Lord, responding quickly to His Spirit's leading.
Cover the Revival Conference Team in prayer as they minister at Church at the Cross in Grapevine, Texas, through Sunday. Pray that God will give them strength and joy as they speak His truth into the lives of His people.
Today, cry out for our nation's leaders, from our city officials to the president. Pray that God will open their eyes to the light and beauty of His Word and give them hearts that are submissive to His will and ways.
Nancy DeMoss will record her first radio program today since the Revive Our Hearts studio relocated from FamilyLife Today in Arkansas to Life Action's headquarters in Michigan. Pray for a smooth transition, and ask God to give her peace, accuracy, and clarity as she speaks.
A couples' weekend retreat begins today at Life Action Camp. Pray for the leaders to speak the truth in love, and for the attendees to receive the truth in humility and obedience.
Hugh Duncan from FamilyLife Today is Revive Our Hearts radio's writer and producer. When the studio recently relocated to Michigan, Hugh and Renae and their two young daughters also moved to this area. Pray that they will adjust well and find strong friendships within our ministry family and community.
The four-day Heart-Cry for Revival Conference, which Life Action co-sponsors, takes place tomorrow through Thursday at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. Please pray that those gathering today for a pre-conference prayer session will be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.
Byron Paulus speaks at the Heart-Cry Conference today. Pray that the Lord will speak through him, leading others to urgently seek God for revival so that our nation may once again see God's glory.
In years past, God has used the Heart-Cry Conference to spark revival in hearts, churches, and entire communities. Pray for God to give those attending a fresh vision and passion for the Giver of revival.
The Heart-Cry Conference is designed, in part, to equip Christian leaders to effectively communicate revival truths to others. Pray for each attendee to know how to apply revival truths in their ministry context and to believe God for a heaven-sent revival across our land.
Revive Our Hearts begins a Times of Refreshing retreat for women's ministry directors today at The Lodge. Please ask God to give these influential women renewed passion for Him and greater vision for those they lead.
As Collegiate Impact finishes participating in a Spiritual Emphasis Week at Montana State University today, pray that transformed students will be used to ignite authentic movements of revival on their campus for God's glory.
Please intercede for our nation's precious 7-12-year-old girls. Pray especially for those attending Revive Our Hearts' second Pure in Heart conference today at Compass Christian Church in Colleyville, Texas. Pray that everyone attending will become passionate for moral purity and for living in their real identity in Christ.
Today, Byron Paulus is conducting pre-summit meetings at Heritage Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, while JR Rohrman is at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church in La Follette, Tennessee. Please pray that God will use these men to prepare these congregations for future summits.
The Lodge is hosting a Pastors' Retreat today through Friday. Pray that God's Spirit will anoint the facilitators to deeply minister to the couples attending.
The Revival Conference Team finishes a THIRST conference at Sale Street Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana, tomorrow night. Pray that God's Spirit will develop within the congregation an intense hunger and thirst for righteousness.
Several of our camp staff have significant financial needs. Please pray that God will raise up new ministry partners to help provide for these families, so they can continue ministering to other families here in Michigan.
The Collegiate Impact staff is continuing to develop their Community Alive discipleship series. Pray that this material, designed to challenge campus students and leaders to practically experience God's reviving presence, will be anointed by the Lord and yield much fruit.
The Revival Conference Team hosts a three-day family weekend event at First Baptist Church in Sulphur, Louisiana, today through Sunday. Pray that the families attending will grow in love and unity.
Intercede today for the Blue Team as they conclude a summit at Cornerstone Church in St. Cloud, Florida. Pray that brokenness and openness will prevail so that God's Spirit may do mighty things there for His glory.
"What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him?" (Deut. 4:7). As we enter this Thanksgiving week, thank God that He is near, and pray that many others will call on Him so His presence may fill our land.
"And what other nation is so great as to have such righteous decrees and laws?" (Deut. 4:8). Thank the Lord that His commandments are good, and pray that America will return to our spiritual heritage by seeking God's righteousness.
"There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand" (Deut. 32:39). Praise the Lord that He alone is God, sovereign ruler of heaven and earth.
Thank the Lord with us for John and Mary Myers and their 38 years of faithful service with Life Action. They have greatly blessed us and our ministry partners. Please pray especially for John's health, as he has faced several difficulties this past year.
Thank the Lord for everything, whether it seems good or bad, because "everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving" (1 Tim. 4:4).
Pray that God's people will develop grateful, contented hearts, so that we may become "blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation" (Phil. 2:15).
As many begin focusing on the busyness of the Christmas season, pray that they will remember the real meaning of the season. Pray that God's children will take advantage of the extra opportunities to share Jesus with others.
The Revival Conference Team leaves for El Salvador today on their second annual missions trip. Pray that God will protect and greatly use them as they minister to local church members and orphans as well as drill fresh water wells.
