Ministry Prayer Calendar

1 Steve Canfield, Jeremiah Canfield, and the Blue Team are 5 days into their 15-day summit at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina. Pray that God’s Spirit would be pleased to empower every aspect of this time.

2 The Life Action Camp hosts an Ignite retreat for junior-high young people this weekend. Pray that God will open their eyes to His power and that they will respond in love and obedience.

3 A Partner Appreciation Weekend is taking place at The Lodge. Pray that the couples attending will be refreshed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

4 Ryan Loveing, Ben Slenk, and the Revival Conference Team begin a THIRST conference at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi, continuing through Wednesday. Pray that all involved will develop a deeper thirst for God, His Word, and His purity.

5 Yesterday Laine Johnson, Wilson Green, and the Red Team began an 11-day summit at Ira Baptist Church in Rutland, Vermont. Pray for Spirit-led insight for the church and team leaders as they challenge the congregation to greater passion for Christ.

6 Dave Warn, director of Collegiate Impact, has the opportunity to address the student body of Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. Pray for God to use Dave powerfully to move the cause of revival forward on this campus.

7 Praise God for the successful launch of Collegiate Impact’s Jericho Partnership last month at Montana State University. Continue to pray as this partnership with MSU’s ministries continues throughout the academic year.

8 Revive Our Hearts hosts a retreat for Women’s Ministry Directors at The Lodge today through Saturday. Pray for Sarah, Carrie, Andrea, and Sarah as they lead the women in times of deep reflection and fervent worship, and for Kim as she provides music.

9 Lift up in prayer our Staff Services Department. Mike Harris, Ted Kadow, Steve Shunkwiler, Vicci Puckett, Louise Thompson, and Alicia Sauers serve our staff in many areas, from the time each applies to join us throughout their season of ministry with us.

10 Steve Hammack speaks at Fall Family camp this week. Thank you for praying for him and Donna as they minister to the families.

11 The Revival Conference Team ministers at First Baptist Church in Pearland, Texas, today through Wednesday. Pray that God would be pleased to accomplish a deep and lasting work there.

12 The Lodge hosts a group of pastors and their wives this week. Pray that this retreat will give them the opportunity to rest, refresh, and renew their relationship with Christ and each other.

13 Scott Salzman leads the IT Department at our National Ministry Center, overseeing the smooth operation of all computers at our home base, The Lodge, Camp, and three teams. Pray for Scott and Andrea and their two sons (and baby on the way).

14 Cindy Wood is a tremendous asset to our Accounting Department, helping us keep current with procedures in today’s business community. Pray today that God will continue to give her daily insight, grace, and the power of His Spirit.

15 Intercede today for God’s powerful hand to rest on Life Action’s Board of Directors: Dr. David Cooke, Dr. Bill Elliff, Dr. Chuck Halford, Richard Magnussen, Byron Paulus, Dr. Walter Price, Paul Redmon, John Shelford, and Ron Whiteford.

16 Revive Our Hearts hosts a women’s conference today and tomorrow at Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield, Virginia. Intercede for Nancy and her team as they seek to teach all that God would have for these women at this time.

17 Adam Toledo serves faithfully at our camp, helping to plan, prepare, and serve delicious meals to our family camp guests and other groups. Cover Adam, Karen, and their three children in prayer today.

18 The Revival Conference Team ministers for the next week at Waller Baptist Church in Waller, Texas. Cover the team and leadership in prayer, as they desire to be used of God to influence many to walk in obedience to Him.

19 Intercede for the Blue Team as they continue their summit through November 1 at Heritage Baptist Church in Johnson City, Tennessee. Ask God to do a work of grace clearly from His Spirit, having far-reaching effects for the kingdom of Christ.

20 A Romantic Reflections retreat began yesterday at The Lodge and will conclude tomorrow. Pray for Ken and Jane Oswald as they serve these couples, and pray for those who will lead them in times of refreshing and renewing their love for each other.

21 A scholarship fund has been set up at Life Action in memory of Stephen Maines. The fund will specifically help young men who travel with our teams, serving behind the scenes as Stephen did. Pray for God to direct the wise use of these funds and to raise up young men who will benefit from them.

22 We ask you today to cover the 11 men on our Advisory Council with your prayers. Ask God to give them great wisdom and creativity as they counsel us.

23 Fathers and sons join at the Camp today through Sunday for a father/son retreat. Pray that God will work deeply during these times of fun, fellowship, and heart-searching to build godly legacies.

24 The Lodge is hosting some of our ministry friends for a Partner Appreciation Weekend. Pray that Byron and Sue Paulus will encourage and challenge the couples who attend.

25 Liz Lockwood, from Louisville, Kentucky, is developing her ministry partner base in order to join the Revive Our Hearts staff. Ask God to speed her on her way, supporting her with those who will join her team to pray and give financially.

26 Dan Jarvis is Managing Editor for Life Action’s Revive magazine. Pray for Dan and Melissa as they minister to young children and teens by being foster and adoptive parents.

27 Many in our nation are experiencing the downsizing or loss of their jobs. Pray that people will diligently seek God in these times and not turn to things that give only false security.

28 The Revive Our Hearts staff gathers at The Lodge tomorrow and Friday for a recording session. Pray that God’s hand would cover this time, accomplishing the desires of His Spirit.

29 Fathers and sons meet again this weekend for a retreat designed to build intimacy between their Lord and themselves, while also providing them with great adventures and great food. Pray that God’s Spirit would work powerfully and that hearts would be responsive.

30 The Revival Conference Team assists our leadership as they meet in Fort Worth, Texas, tomorrow for a one-day Vision Gathering designed to serve our ministry partners. Pray that the Lord will prepare His people to grow in their passion and desire to see the Holy Spirit send revival to individual hearts and our entire nation.

31 The Red Team begins an 11-day summit tomorrow at Fellowship Baptist Church in Portland, Indiana. Pray for a mighty work of God’s Spirit there.
